IS IT NORMAL FOR CURLY HAIR TYPES TO CHANGE DURING MENOPAUSE? By, Wendy Iles

All your life people have admired your gorgeous curls and waves, but with age no one comments anymore. Has this happened to you? As we mature hair changes, there is no doubt about that. Hair becomes thinner, dull and can even become very brittle if not cared for correctly. Generally speaking, all hair becomes finer in texture as the diameter of each hair reduces with age but with curly hair types, things are a little different.

Home Care is Key for Menopausal Curls

When showering be sure not to rough up cuticle while you’re washing. Use a RSW shampoo and conditioner. Rinse the hair “down” instead of “back.” When you get out of the shower, refrain from messing your curls with a towel. Instead, lean over and squeeze the water out so that you’re holding the curl in place. Rough drying with a towel creates frizz, and you don’t want frizz. The ideal accessory is our RSW towel which will remove fast excess water without messing up the curl formation. Add RSW Leave-in conditioner to reduce the frizz and lengthen the curl.
